Yeah....I don't understand that also. I thought the NSO is the NSO.

what i'm thinking is to get CENOMAR from NSO pasay too (even i have cenomar (recent date already) just to be sure .., that's the only way i can see to avoid getting 221g for CENOMAR better to be prepared than not i guess.. glad i read about it a while ago while i'm bored.

I think they are not requiring this for ALL applicants.... Its just like random if they will require from Pasay.

is this requirement goes to all applicants all over the Philippines or just the ones residing in Luzon or NCR this makes me worry as i am from Mindanao :S

I am 99% sure that a cenomar specifically from Pasay is not required.

We should start a thread asking how many people get visa approval even if there CENOMAR is from different NSO office.

I will do this on Tuesday when the embassy opens again and more filipinos will come online to share their experience.

I won't forget because I am worried about the CEMAR also.

dont be sorry :) its one way too of knowing whether we are getting correct information or what its always an initial reaction to worry whenever another requirement is required esp when we thought we already have everything we need :)

If it is mandatory to get from PASAY only.....they should have it posted like that on the US embassy Manila website.

I got my CENOMAR from my hometown in Pangasinan, and I got approved.

I don't know, but it must be a case-to-case basis. You just have to probably present your documents and yourself as truthfully as possible, just to avoid the consul from having even a tinge of suspicion about you. Well, that's just my two cents worth.

Anyway, if you just wanna make sure you won't be asked to get another Cenomar from NSO, then might as well get one then. It won't hurt after all. Good Luck to you.. :)
