I am sorry to hear about this.....Here is a  for you to help you get through this time.. I know it isn't much but know that there are people pulling for you..

If your spouse is the petitioner, have you considered having him/her look into contacting a local lawmaker? It may be time to take some action, if for nothing else than to feel as if you are being proactive..Please fill in your timeline as well..

The most effective thing you can do right now is for the USC to contact a State Senator or Congressman. Go to their website, download and fill out their privacy form with your case information, fax to their office and call to follow up to get the name/email/direct phone number of the person assigned to your case. They can make an official inquiry into your case status and tell you if perhaps you are stuck in some kind of namecheck or administrative review. Or better yet, the inquiry will make them pick up you case and get it moving.

Good luck!

Yes, contact your senator! My I-130 took forever to be approved (in fact it was in detailed review)! and then my I-485 was bounced around until I contacted my senator again. They don't charge anything, it just takes the petitioner's efforts and patience!

You're waiting anyhow, use the time well! It'll be sooner than you think. And believe me I know how you feel.

I cannot even figure out what it is you are waiting for. I dont see a timeline, but 224 days is too long to wait for anything. I wonder of your petition has expired or something... It sounds to me like your fiance is not doing what he should be...

You are not alone - we have been waiting a few more days.

Since our case is way past processing times and hasn't been touched in more than 90 days, I have contacted USCIS to investigate what happened and sent over a request for help to my state senator. So far the response is wait another X days until we can tell you something - not even the approval/rejection.

We both get to wait anxiously and deal with ongoing frustration. Good luck!
