I saw the USCIS website, and that the 130's from 2008 are still okay to submit but I just wanted to check with this forum. We have been sitting on these signed forms since last year and to get new sigs would mean a trip backto Bogota.

So is the May, 2008 revision still okay?

Tx!

Why would you need to make a trip. Just email the new form, have it signed and mailed back.

However, from the USCIS site re: I-130. These are edition dates, not expiration dates.

01/08/12; (08/15/11; 11/23/10; 06/14/10; 05/27/08 and 01/31/08 editions also accepted)

According to USCIS's site, yes, the 2008 editions are still accepted: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=c67c7f9ded54d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD [Edition Date section]

Thanks very much..Mail to and from Bogota is very precarious at times, we've lost several things over the years (movies on DVD, pictures or whatnot) so I didn't want to take a chance with these forms.

Part of the problem is that they reconfigured their street numbers and mail zones a couple of years ago as opposed to an inherently unreliable system, which I don't think is the case.

Tx!

In addition, you can download all forms from the USCIS website, so you always have the most current one available: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD
