If you check yes for question 11 are you suppose to list all the information they want on a separate sheet or try and fit it in the small space provided. What if you don't know the exact date of filing, would that be a problem?

Then under question 11 there is a bold line with initial Receipt___ Resubmitted__ and so on. Is this part of question 11? It would have helped if they had an example to look at with question 11 marked yes. Any help with this question will be a huge help.

Thank you.

HUH? Can you be more specific? What form are you talking about?

Question 11 asks for more than a yes or no answer. That was the purpose of my original question. I don't have a problem with question 12. Thank you for trying to help me.

Are you sure you are filling out the correct form?

The I-129F form question #11 says:

11. Has your fiancé(e) ever been in the U.S.? Yes No

Nothing more . . .

Perhaps you should link here to the sample form: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-129F.pdf

I just checked the link you provided and it does say if yes give name of all aliens, place and date of filing. The A# and results. It is clearly stated but what is unclear is how to answer it.

You need to be specific or you will get wrong information.

Part A Q11 or Part B Q11?

I assume you are talking Part A

If you cannot fit the info in the box then attach a supplement. The receipt_resubmit is beloe a heavy line which is for CSC use only

YMMV

Thank you, I will be more specific in the future. There is only one question 11 on that form but I do see where it could get confusing with the multiple sections. I do apologize for any confusion on my part.

The copy of the for I looked at had two. One for the petitioner (part a) which is the multiple petition questions and one for the beneficiary which is a previous visit to the US. My form i ooked at is dated 5/23/06 which is the most current version.

YMMV

Problem is, there are (obviously) two question #11 - the other one asks if your fiance has ever been in the US!

I had to answer yes to Part A Q 11 but I had my original filing. I had my NOA1 as well as my LIN # so that is what I put on the form. If you do not have any of that info then answer the question to the best of your ability

YMMV

You should use an extra page for your answer if you need to explain something, for example, if you need to request a waiver because you are seeking a second fiance visa within two years. If everything fits into the space provided you can just fill it in. I sent in my application with a name and place but without an #A and filing date and didn't have a problem but that doesn't mean they won't call you on it as arbitrary as everything seems to be!
