Alas! As you have foretold, I still cannot submit an e-Request  because USCIS says I'm "within processing time"... even though I have waited for 5 months! :bonk:

However, according to this post, CSC's processing time for I-130 (Citizen for spouse) now seems to be 5 months plus 22 days.

So it seems I must wait until February 1st, 2013. :clock: But until then, I'll try to submit an e-Request every day anyway. :innocent:

Yah man I too can't open a stupid SR. They told me the same thing HOWEVER you should ask them to escalate your call and transfer to tier2. That way you will speak to an immigration officer at your center where your file is (like Vermont, California, Texas, etc...) I did the same thing and the lady there told me that my file is all good it's just too much work load at Vermont and I should hear something from them within 30 days :) Give it a try and let us know how it goes. Wish you all the best

Niyapravi, my NOA1 is 8/7/12 no luck for me either. I called in 12/7/12 and they told me not to call unless I don't hear from them in the next 2 months. So it looks like I'll be calling 2/7/13. If you call and different response please let me know

Just out of my curiosity.....as i was going through the timelines, i came across an interesting fact which was people who filed both I-130 and I-129F, got their approvals on the same day....is that a coincidence or is it the way that works?

That's how it works.

see K-3 administratively closed - http://www.visajourney.com/news/2010/02/07/department-of-state-to-close-k-3-visas-if-i-129f-and-i-130-petitions-approved-and-received-together/

for the fallout.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

What do you put in place of the mailing zipcode of an e-request? Is it our mailing zipcode or the one that we have mailed the visa petition to?

Congrats! It's good to see another NBC transfer being approved.

Non-NBC transfers (like myself) need to wait 175 days before we can submit an e-Request to have our case looked at. :clock:

Yup, it's day 158 for me and e-Request still doesn't work (it says I'm within processing times). :bonk:

There's only 17 more days until I reach 175 days when the e-Request should work for me! (I hope) :innocent:
