I am confused.? Do you want to go to school?? I do not follow the thought process about only applying for graduation. Are you talking about graduate school?

I am in currently in the USA in a B1/B2 tourist visa, is it possible to change my visa status to student, in order to apply for graduation?

No you can't change your status!! B1/B2 (non-immigrant) is simply for tourism period! You could always go back to Brazil and apply for a student visa!

Hey

I do want to go to school, I've applied to graduate school and there's a good chance I'll get accepted, in the meantime I'm here in a tourist visa (B1/B2) My question is assuming I get accepted can I apply for a student visa in the US or do I have to go back home to apply there?

If you want a student visa, you must apply outside the US.

If you want to change your status only, you can do it in the US.
