I was put on administrative processing after my interview on AUg 14. I emailed ustraveldocs to track my passport since they kept it after the interview. I received an email saying that my passport is still with post. What does this mean?

Are you absolutely sure about this?

AL & JM have your fiance call DOS 202-663-1225 and ask about the status of your visa. They will have the most accurate information.

I actually e-mailed them twice just to make sure and I got the same reply. I haven't called DOS yet but I will soon. I'll just do it myself because my fiance is a bit stressed about going back to school. I dont want him to get stressed even more with this. I do hope that I get good news to tell him though.

I hope so. I don't want to get my hopes up though because there is a chance that it might be a denial instead of a visa. :( :(

Only the USC can call DOS. They won't give out information to you.
