Hi all, Chicago Service Center has received my I-129F, Petition for Spouse (K-3) and sent NoA1. I guess my waiting game has started already. As I can see that they have touched my record every day for 4 days countiusly. I've feelings that either I'll get the approval or ask for RFE. I just want to be prepare for both situation. Could you all share what they ask in RFE. Thank you again!

It can be different for everybody. You may have forgotten to write something in, or forgotten to sign something or put N/A where they wanted to see NONE or or...

Or they could just be shuffling paper and there's nothing at all to worry about. That happens too.

Thank you for the response my concern. So far I know, I filled out the form correctly. I'm hoping that I'll get something in my mail today.

There are often several touches in the beginning first few days when your check is cashed, payment posted, etc. I wouldn't necessarily expect anything in the mail. Good luck!

I agree with riblet. If you look at my touches I had 3 really close together and haven't had anything since. Don't freak out just yet. :)

Point of clarification: There is no Chicago Service Center. The Chicago 'lockbox' is the mail receiving station for the National Benefits Center (aka the Missouri Service Center).

A lot of activity goes on in Chicago - the applications package is opened, the material is sorted and reviewed for completeness, a file is created, the check is deposited, the Receipt Notice is generated, and the file gets shipped out to the NBC.

An RFE may be generated while the case is in Chicago, but approval will not be.

Well for me, we didnt get any touches until maybe 2 days before the approval of my husbands I-129f. We got an RFE for the I-130, but it was for the marriage certificate from Morocco, which I had already sent in with the packet the first time. So from what I see a lot of people were a little upset because of the set back, cuz they were requesting things that had been mailed in already. But we are waiting anyway, right? At least if you get one you'll feel like they're paying your case some attention.

That's how I felt anyway.

No touches for the I-130 after the RFE, but approval? YEP!
