Passport number error on Medical Documents

Hi all,

My interview is next Wednesday (22nd August) in Paris Embassy.

I am double and triple checking my file and documents.

And while looking through my other documents, I read the copy of the vaccination sheet that the Doctor gave me. And I am dismayed!

My passport starts with 05 and the number written on the sheet starts with 08. :o

Since the secretary put the number on all documents filled out by the Doctor...

Is there anything I can do in the short time left to my interview?

Thanks in advance.

Dunno if I am gonna sleep tonight.

Actually my concern is if the mistake is gonna put my visa approval in jeopardy?

Are medical exam results being used after visa issuance?

I know AOS is calling for a copy of the vaccination sheet.

Thanks for any answer as I am panicking so to speak.

Especially since doctors are closed in France in August.

Tell me it's not the office of Doc. Slattery AGAIN. They messed up completely the dates on my vaccination record.

Best is to return to the office and ask that they fix their mistake (I did it a few hours before my interview...). Even if the mistake is small, it can be problematic, if not caught at the K-1 interview, it may be during the AOS.

Medical results are in the sealed envelop that you should have been given by the doctor secretary. Visa is not issued if they don't have the sealed medical envelop (that's why you need to bring it at the interview).

Yes it is Dr Slatery!

Pfewww I thought I had made a typo when filling out the small papers for the X-ray and blood test, but following your post, it might be their mistake as well.

I will call their office on Monday but I am pretty sure they're on vacation. :-/

Guess I will have to postpone my interview then.

And I know about the sealed envelope. I am just wondering if the mistake is on all documents. But since I cannot open it... Oh well.

I think you should not postpone your interview for that. Maybe try to explain the problem at the interview, and they will understand. Worst case, they tell you to go back to see the doctor, and your case wil be on hold at the embassy, it's not a problem at all for them. But go to the schedule interview, really. :)

I mean, if you can't see the doctor before the interview... And if you tell them they made a mistake, they should make you come anytime....

Thanks a lot! Your comment definitely is a relief.

Everything went too well so far I guess. :D

Well I might have found a solution.

Since Dr Slattery's office is closed until September 3rd, I phoned Dr Jolly, who kindly accpeted to make modifications to the documents and stamp them so it's official.

I will just enjoy trips to Paris two days in a row (1 tomorrow for corrections and 1 wednesday for the actual interview).

Better than being stuck I guess.
