We all know how messed up the mailing system is in jamaica. What is the best and most affordable way to send an envelope the standard 8*11 with just some photos and some papers to take to interview? Interview date is the 14th of July, package wont be ready to shipped until the 25th of August.

You would need Doc Brown's DeLorean to make that delivery date. whistling.gif

Jamaica's mailing system is actually not that bad. I used their express mail service to send off my package to NVC and it got there ok and on time. I have also received quite a few valuable packages and have not once had a problem.

I say UPS or DHL. And the sooner the better. Keep a copy just in case it isnt received before the inteview. You can alway FedEx it. But only use that option for an emergency. I had to send my package via FedEx days before his inteview and it cost me $110. And thats not JA dollars. :)

I used UPS before and everything that I sent was $100.00, DHL never will give me a price online, so unsure of their cost. I used USPS, no problems, make sure it is the FLAT RATE envelope. Also, it depends on what parish also. I send mine to St. Ann's PO, but I do not trust Runaway Bay PO.

Why not scan all douments and send then via email, he can have everything printed off inluding pictures. If nothing requires your orginal signature, copies of everything is fine. Use/make technology work for you.

i think we are going to use DHL, its the most reliable and cheapest option considering time and importance. would have use USPS if we had like a month to interview but its a little over 3 weeks, cant run that risk
