August 2012 filers!

I called USCIS this morning to ask them about their progress, and was told by a Tier 2 that they were processing JULY 2nd, which is NOT when I applied!

I am an August 6th filer through VSC, and while on the phone, I received a text notification & email! Once I hung up with the USCIS officer, I logged on to check my case status, and BOOM! Approved on February 19, 2013!!! 197 days!!!

So strange! Overjoyed, nonetheless! I hope everyone else is one step closer to receiving their NOA2s!

I wonder why it happened that way? The officer was just telling me to wait another month, and that they were processing a totally different date from mine, but then VIOLA! I got my approval! Seems like they might be giving people the wrong information...

It has been 13 days since the RFE notification yet still no actual mail.. Later in the day we receive another RFE email notification.. So fiance called USCIS and asked about it. They told him they just mailed the RFE mail today,,, WOW! So those 13 days we are waiting for nothing! And how could they sent an RFE notification twice? Was it an error the first time?

That's better than to be rejected at once. Now somebody is looking at your papers at last. Your NOA2 is next. Wish u best luck!!..

Request for Evidence

"On February 20, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting evidence/information for this case to you or your representative. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the material requested."

I am at work,couldn't focus for a while. Happy to see my status left the the initial interview and moved to RFE,.. now hoping to have the letter soon, so we know what to do. My fiance is glad and will tell my future mom soon, sure she'll be glad to know that we are now moving.

you know what guys, i noticed there is a LOT OF AUGUST fillers got RFE... i mean a LOT!! every other one posting on here that thay got RFE!!
