Dont know what the problem was, but i called the hotline at what would have been 8am est and tried many times to get a live operator. I kept getting the message to call back between 8am and 8pm to get a live operator? Anybody have info on this or help to get a live person on the phone?

Thanks

" Live agents will now be available Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.(...) in each time zone."

In your time zone, what time was it when you called?

Otherwise try to press your way through until you get the "i have a problem with my case" or something like it. I can't recall the jungle of messages they have you listen to and go through.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

When I had to call USCIS to get a live operator, I remember having to go through the automated touchtone message and push the appropriate buttons that eventually led me to a live person. I remember getting to a part where I had to report a possible problem or questions with my application or something along those lines.
