HAVING WIFE FOR THE INTERVIEW

Hi friends,

Just wanted your advice if its good to have your wife with you at the CR1 interview??

my interview is coming close and our attourney said it would be nice if my wife was present at the interview.

does it really help or make any difference if she is present?

i had read in some post a long time ago that it does make a difference

need urgent advice so we can get the ticket immediately.

Bombay, my best advice would be to email the consulate in Oman and ask if your wife is even able to come in with you...most consulates do not even let the other person inside...if they allow it, i would say YES...go for it

Timeline

I read on this site that somebody went for the interview together and it made things worse: they questioned him and her separatelly and really grilled them both. I don't remember or I'd tell you where to look for about that interview. So, I don't know what to tell you, but it felt to me that that couple regreted going together. To me it makes sence - moral support at least, but it didn't make a difference for the consulate. That's what I know, you do what you think is right, and good luck!

Interview - February 2006 - 221(g) - still under investigation.

Another useless interview - July 2006 - got nowhere!

August 23, 2007 - he's finally here!
