RFE review in VERMONT

I completed my time line for the first time today. Thanks to the memebers who recommended it. When I did and showed that my Fiancee in Massachesetts sent in the documents need yesterday... it showed at the bottom the following...

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 18, 2012 and August 23, 2012* (RFEs at the Vermont Service Center typically add an extra 27 days, which has been added to the estimated processing time).

Does this mean that I will not hear or have an approval from Vermont VSC 27 days beyond August 23rd making it September 20th or so?

And at that time, if it gets approved ( I assume it will as only needing my wifes death certificate )... it then goes to Montreal for assigning a Case number at which time I will get a Packet 3.... is this correct? Please help me...

That timeline is just an estimate provided by this site. It is not from USCIS and is just an "educated guess" for lack of better word. USCIS CAN take up to 60 days to respond to an RFE. If approved, most cases then go to NVC, but it may be different for Canada. From NVC they go to the embassy. I would suggest checking out the Canada Portal for better info on that. Good luck. We got an RFE too and are still waiting....
