It seems like Vermont is approving I130's 2 to 3 month faster if not more. Does that make any sense to anyone??? Why don't they send the overflow from California to Vermont? It just seems unfair to me that because we live in California we have to wait so much longerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :o

Life is not about fair.

It's unfair for so much of the worlds population to live in poverty.

It's unfair that some states charge tax on food and others do not

It's unfair that some children are born to alcoholic parents.

It's unfair that identical haircuts cost more for women than for men.

It's unfair when people are born with handicaps

It's unfair that some people never find love.

It's unfair than Enron employees lost their retirements

We chose to petition for CR1 cause at the time it was moving faster than K3's even with our petitions being transferred from Nebraska to California. Half way through, the processed reversed and it took almost a year for our CR's.

It's unfair that it's 68 degrees  in CA (Los Angles) and 16 degrees with a wind chill of 0 :hehe: in VT (Burlington). I guess when you live in a clod climate you need to keep moving to stay warm.

At least for you there is a logical reason why yours went to California. I can drive to Vermont in half a day, California would take me a couple days (provided I dont rest all that much :P ) Yet still my application made a trip to the west coast. As others have said, life isnt fair, so we cant expect the govt to be.

I joined VJ in sept of '07. I remember being so happy when we learned that our case was in VSC. HA! I had seen all the posts that VSC was so fast... now, not so much

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Fron the VJ timelines here i really notice CSC was faster than VSC with approval in as little as 2 months compare to us waiting at from march/ april /may without a single touch. Only recently CSC and VSC come to a stand still maybe because they are in the election spirit.
