And I AM referring to CURRENT time frames. Please go to the August 2012 thread (click on either of the last two links in my signature) and look at all the members there who are getting packages reviewed within one week.

We mailed our Iv Package yesterday. lets see how long they take to process that and assign interview date

Ours took 4 days from receipt at NVC. NVC recd 2 Aug, case complete 7 Aug. Awaiting interview date now.

Good luck with The rest of your journey. Cleary u need it with your know it all attitude.... My last a final comment would be, no one should base anything on anything. Each case is looked at as its own. I mean i got my noa2 in less than 3 months,.while others are atill wait 6 months later.

Here on vj most of us are greatful for The HELP And answers others share. It is clearly better to be nice than RUDE

Calm down man, People are just trying to help. Sometimes there are delays in the process but with a reason. Sometimes they need to do additional background checks or could be some other reason but if everything is normal, it will take a WEEK to review your document.

No need to yell at people. These people are not getting paid by you or anyone. They are trying to help everyone. They spend their precious time on this GREAT forum to answer your questions.

Took me 1,5 month from case number to interview date!

We are applying for K1 visa and we now have our case number. I know I just need to wait for the embassy to send me packet 3. My question is - What is the benefit of knowing one's case number if under the K1 visa? Should I be working on something while waiting?
