What happens next?

Do we get an email or a hard copy of case finished or interview date?

What should I expect and from where?

As always, thanks!

Thanks for your help, that link has some usefull information on the process but does not have specifics on the notices from NVC/Consulate.

"8) NVC reviews both packages and completes the case in about 2 weeks and forwards to the beneficiary's U.S consulate by scheduling beneficiary's interview at the Consulate."

Do we get notified of this? Beneficiary, petitioner or both? How? Email? Hard copy?

"1) Consulate receives the NVC package in about 2 weeks time and notifies the beneficiary (Packet 4). NVC notifies the petitioner with the interview appointment letter."

Interview appointment letter to petitioner only, both? By email? Hard copy?

Packet 4 to beneficiary by email? Hard copy?

Thanks again!

Once all forms are sent in, you can call NVC and check to see if you're case is complete. NVC does not send you an email stating that your case is complete. Once they tell you it is, nvc schedules you're appointment at the Dominican consulate. Once your interview is scheduled, that is when you receive packet four, which is the interview letter. You and your wife should be receiving packet 4. You through email and your wife through mail. :)
