Ups! Got a mistake on signed/filled DS-230, whiteout?

We put my parents info on the DS-230 my wife sent me pre-filled and signed, should I use whiteout tape and correct it or should I hand fill the signed blank copy she sent me as a plan oh #######!?

I think you should fill a new form and sign by the visa beneficiary.

I sent my IV packet and my husband sent his to the NVC.

But I also sent some blank forms and I pre-signed on the forms

just for in case.

I-130 NOA1:2011/10/17(217 days)

After 187 days REF:2012/4/24(email)

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

I'm a dimwit!

The mistake was on the first page... so after hand writing the first page 4 times... I realized all I had to do was fix the mistake on the first page and print it again! The precious signature is in the second page and the forms were originally filled out on the computer...

This thread is not very recent but I wanted to put my two cents in.

I also made a mistake on DS-230, on the second page; a small mistake with a date. I called NVC about that and few other things, and I was told I could use white-out. As I said, it was just a little mistake; not a few lines of incorrect information.

Glad you figured it out. Wite-out was a no no!
