How much evidence is need to be submitted for interview (I guess packet 3) ? I mean how many pages , is there a limit ?

1) Skype calls/chat

2) Emails

3) Phone Calls (from my side & her side )

4) Pictures (I know she can take the Engagement Album with her at interview)

Thanks,

All that is good, the more the better just don't show personal messages they don't need to know everything about your relationship

I sent them emails, phone calls highlited her number and time I called, flight tickets and of course pictures I sent them 4 pictures in diferent locations and showing your faces not wearing shades hat or stuff that might give them a second look also put dates and locations where it was taken and it would really help if you sent picture with you and her with family members. Good luck!

If you have Western Union receipts that you supported your significant other that could also be used. One successful applicant said he just printed out the total time per session on Skype and did not print out the conversations. Then he saved the rest on a memory stick and sent it to his fiancee so that if they needed further proof she had it because there is just too many pages to print. Also perhaps you can send one email per week and the rest can be saved on the memory stick. This is what I plan to do.

we only did webcam on windows live messenger and gtalk. We didn't send them our conversation (if we did it'd be thousand pages) but we've been saving our screen shots for each day for the past year.. so there were about 300pages of our screen shots.... and Phone bills.. i think there were about 200 pages for the past couple years, I sent 15 pictures to my fiance so that he can show them at the interview,10 emails ( we didn't email each other that often) and also a couple snail mails. That's pretty much it.

You need to tailor your evidence for YOUR consulate. What people elsewhere have experienced is of near-zero consequence.

1. Go atop any VJ page. Click & read "Embassy Info."

2. Go atop any VJ page. Click & read "Reviews: Embassy" (for YOUR consulate). Pay particular attention to the WORST reviews.

3. Go to your regional subforum. Read every remotely applicable thread.

4. Consult various knowledgeable members who post in your regional subforum, especially those who had the WORST experiences.

In general, pick the strongest evidence of "bona fide relationship" that YOU want THEM to see.

Also, Western Union receipts can be harmful to your case. Bring them to the interview, but don't volunteer them; present them only if you're asked to.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I agree with both statements above. For some embassies, significant financial support before a K-1 could be taken the wrong way. We brought a bunch of evidence to the interview (binders kept by the missus), but she didn't have to send anything in earlier. The CO actually looked at just a VERY few things, we kept the rest in the waiting room. The policy of the Kiev, Ukraine embassy has no bearing the embassy where you will interview..

You can read more about packet 3 here; http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/ivpacket309k1.html allthough when someone who has recently gone through that embassy, please pay attention to any advise they're giving beyond what's written on the website. Sometimes it helps looking through K1 embassy reviews here on VJ.

And it says on the website, "Proof of Relationship: We strongly suggest that all applicants bring extensive documentary evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and the primary beneficiary and between the primary beneficiary and any derivative beneficiaries. Failure to do so could greatly delay your application while your application is investigated. Some examples of such evidence are family and other photographs (old and recent) showing the parties together, letters, cards, correspondence, and telephone records."

Usually, you bring proof of ongoing relation with you to the interview.
