Hello Everyone, My wife was interviewed a couple of weeks back and her visa request was denied because we havent done our walima yet. They kept her passport and provided a form with 221 (g) checked on it. In the Counsler's notes it says to provide Walima Pictures as a proof of completion of marriage. I have three questions:

1) How do we provide Walima pictures? Do we need to go to Islamabad or just upload them from embassy's web portal?

2) How long will it take for the embassy to proceed further with the application after Walima pictures are provided.

3) Will my spouse be interviewed again?

Thank you all!

Follow the instructions on the form given at the conclusion of the interview. No electronic media is accepted, so likely a trip to the embassy is needed.

They kept the passport, seems like just the requested photos are needed for visa issuance.

Arrange a Valima in the house or in the Hall in pakistan where ever your wife or husband is located. invite guests and show pictures including Guests which is pretty important.as far as sending documents or pictures is concerned you need to send them through American express courier in your city.they can 4-6 weeks to review your pictures. then it depends if the Consular can issue the visa or keep your wife or husband in Administrative Processing which can take from 6 weeks to 6 Months.
