i came over last year on a k-1 along with my kids but one of my sons was given a one year ban for use of marijuana. Now the one year is up and i have recieved a new interview date for him next Thursday. thing is the sent me a list of things i need to have and included is a i-134 and supporting docs. My husband lost his job in March of 2012. Is it ok for me to use a co-sponser? Should i still send my hubby"s 2011 tax returns and w-2 he got b4 losing his job? please advis. thank you

Attempting to decieve them with false info will result in a very serious situation. Just submit the docs with the current info which is also the truth.

Check with the embassy to see if they will allow the use of a co sponsor.

Do you have your GC? Do you meet the income guidelines, because you can be the joint sponsor. Then yes you can turn your 2011 taxes because you filed jointly. Since the petitioner is not currently working, then there is no current income to disclose, unless he has extensive savings.

No I don't have my gc as yet, so it is ok to use a co-sponsor?
