Maybe, I believed that is one of the items asked for to get submitted with the pkg! Just in case have you fiancé write one up signed by him and mail it to you!

Yes, both of you need to have submitted letters with the I-129F petition. (5 B in the I-129F instructions)

The example letter on the VJ site is a great model to follow. It doesn't need to be notarized, but you will need to sign in ink and have the original copies (one for each of you). Don't worry about including mailing address on the letter, but if you want, just use the address of the Service Center. We used the Dallas Lockbox address when we sent in our petition package and didn't have any issues.

Some did not send one and didn't get an RFE, seems the answer at one of the questions on the I-129F can substitute it.

Still, it's better to prepare as if you will receive an RFE and have the signed letter at the ready vs. scrambling to get everything together. What happens to some doesn't mean it will be the same in your case.

For the petitioner you really dont have to make, because you already sign @ the back of the form I-129F Show Your certification that you are legally able to marry your allien fiancee Within 90days.But for the Beneficiary, i think you have to make one and sign it.BTW,i just sent my Form I-129F for my fiancee a week ago and i received an email from USCIS acceptance comfirmation with Receipt notice with my Receipt number EAC ********* i dont know what it is. lol i dont really know what is next. so goodluck for both of us....
