I got the following reply from NVC today after sending DS-3032 via email last week.

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the

immigrant visa petition: JAKXXXXXXXX filed by XXXXX on behalf of

XXXXXX.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner,

principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an

instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

Case Number: JAKXXXXXXXX

Petitioner's Name: XXXXX

Principal Applicant's Name: XXXXXXX

Preference Category: CR1

Your Priority Date: 08Feb2012

Foreign State Chargeability: INDONESIA

U.S. EMBASSY

JL. MEDAN MERDEKA SELATAN NO. 3-5

JAKARTA 10110

INDONESIA

From what I've been reading, it seems this is "not" an acceptance of DS-3032 but rather the case may be being entered into the system. Also when I try to login, I got the following: You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information.

Should I resend DS-3032 again or wait to see the payment being invoiced?

I read somewhere though if it's been accepted, it will say something like " NVC has accepted your DS-3032 and the petitioner will be designated as your agent and further matters will be sent through the agent".

Yeah, try to login NVC payment portal if the AOS fee has been invoiced. If so, then you can pay and send the AOS package after it showed as being paid. Same thing with IV package after the DS-3032 has been accepted and IV fee has been paid.

  • 2 weeks later...

Still have not received the IV bill since the NVC reply i received on 7/13. And I am not sure that email is acceptance or not. I am currently waiting for the reply on 2nd DS-3032 I sent last Monday. Regardless, I am going to have my wife mail the actual form from NVC directly by 7/25 if I still don't hear anything from them. It's ridiculous how slow they are.

I know your FRUSTRATION....but you are making your case complicated than supposed to be. CALL NVC. You will get the EXACT answer and you don’t have to speculate the situation.

Generally, it takes 1- 2 business weeks….I am with Kike732.So, I believe your IV will be billed by this week.

I don’t see any good reason to resend paperwork via mail. Regardless, whether the email from NVC was just intake or acceptance, it is clear that NVC already received your email regarding DS3032.

i called a few times already. they cannot tell whether they accept ds-3032 or not. they just said to wait 20 business days to process. I have no idea what they are processing.

I have been reading alot lately on their email server being logjammed and DS-2032 getting all hold up. Some its taking up to 2 weeks to get that confirmation of their DS3032. This is another waiting game I am afraid. But do continue to call everyday until you get satisfaction (if there is such a thing at NVC).

Finally got the acceptance after the 2nd email. Probably the first email is the rejection, because I may have sent it too early prior receiving the AOS Fee/DS-3032 package. Hopefully no need wait too long to get it invoiced and send IV package.
