I won't provide a general answer but I'll give a few specific examples. star_smile.gif

I received my approval exactly four months after the biometrics appointment (CSC), no interview.

Menina, a fellow January 2012 filer (CSC) received her interview letter 15 days after her walk-in bio.

her timeline:

filing date - 01/03/12

early bio - 02/03/12

interview letter received - 02/18/12

interview date - 03/01/12

I-751 approval - 04/25/12

Another January 2012 filer, almondmilkteagirl, had an interview before March ended (CSC). She wasn't approved on the day of her interview and until now hasn't posted in our thread to give an update.

her timeline:

filing date - 01/09/12

bio - 02/06/12

interview letter received - 03/09/12

interview date - 03/21/12

You'll find our updated timeline on this page.

It's not guarantee you'll be called in for an interview and most cases are approved without one. You won't find out at the biometrics whether or not you're approved. You have to wait for the office you filed with to make that decision. Unfortunately it is a waiting game and a frustrating one at that. I'm nearing 9 months since filing and no approval yet...

Smurfette71, as RebeccaAndPhil said, not everyobdy gets an interview after the biometrics; in fact, as I understand it, most people don't go in for an interview during the ROC process. My husband didn't have an interview. He had his biometrics done on February 27th and he was approved on July 4th (we received his 10 year green card today). We filed through the CSC and his wait was about 5 months (from the day we sent in the packet). As RebeccaAndPhil said, it is a waiting game, and we all wait and wait.

Wishing you the best in this process. :)

Yes, CSC is the California Center and VSC is the Vermont Center. My husband's processing of his ROC did take abut 5 months and a week, but I know people who have waited longer than that, so we were quite happy about getting approved in 5 months. :)

Waiting is difficult, but it all worked out. Patience is definitely required during this process. :) Good luck to you.
