Manila Case Number received today!

I called this morning to see if the NVC received our petition. I was told it was received

today but it could take up to 20 days to be entered into the system. I called again

on my way home from work. This time I was told that our information was entered in the system.

I asked for and was given our Manila case # The operator also asked me to confirm my

phone number and e-mail address. She also asked for my Fiance's e-mail address. Needless to

say we are very happy. 15 days from our I-797 approval date of June 18th.

So are we able to make payment to BPI using my fiance's passport number at this time... even

though the petition probably has not been forwarded to Manila yet?

After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL # (don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )

Once you have your MNL # you can take your passport and required visa fee (in Php) to BPI and pay your visa fee. The embassy website states that within 4 hours of paying at BPI you can schedule your interview appointment but most times it seems to take about 24 hours.

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number (normally).

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

The DS-156 can be difficult to complete sometimes, if you have issues try a different web browser. I had problems getting it to print with IE8, Chrome, Firefox, finally got it to print using Safari.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

Thank u for this post it answered my question, i got my nvc case number on the last week of june, and on july 2 i received an email from nvc with them saying that they have shipped my papers to us embassy manila. upon checking the dhl tracking website it says it was shipped on june 28 and received last week Thursday.

At this point i was confused because people said manila embassy is not gonna send us anything (no letters or packets), so i was confused as to what to do next. I did not know if I can already go to BPI and pay for my interview cause all i have is my case number.

Anyway again thanks for this post, tomorrow I will go to BPI w/ my passport and case number that I received from NVC email.

i went to BPI and they didnt ask for my manila case number only the passport and the P10k+ payment for visa, they will just give you a receipt, you will only need mnl case number when doing online scheduling appointment, medical and interview day.

Katherine made the BPI payment yesterday. So hopefully she can get on line and make

her appointment soon. Our petition has not yet been forwarded to the Manila Embassy,

hopefully it will in the next day or two.
