Hello, I have a doubt related to my K1 process once i went to visit my fiance at USA last month and the immigration stopped me

and made me to return to my country and suggested me to apply for the Fiancee visa;

The issue was that i had no idea that there was that kind of specific visa and went to visit my fiance with tourism visa and with intention to not return anymore and to get marry at USA, being said that and after my visa been cancelled my immigration by withdraw based on my sworn, my doubt is once i have been removed from USA and registered in the system, do i have any possibility to have my K1 visa application be denied due to that? If so, what can i do to explain that in the interview day? (after all that misunderstanding i got apply for the K1 visa and waiting for the feedback)

Thanks in advance for your attention and feedback

Lutiana

Sorry, I meant I returned with withdraw and it is written in my passport visa

So you wanted to enter the US and get married and stay? And you told the CBP this?

What, if anything, was written in your passport? A 'removal' is VERY different from an application withdrawl, you need to figure out which one it is

Good luck

No, it is not an issue. As long as it was a simple denial of entry/application withraw then you are fine

I was denied entry twice and got my visa with no issues, because I was truthful on the papers and when asked

Good luck

Yes it would be different I think if you had made it into the country and were here illegally and deported. But if they refused you entry, then that would not count against you, as you said, you didn't know there was a special type of visa for this.

Thank you so much for the feedback,

Do you have any idea about the timeline for this entire K1 process nowadays? I've checked the researches on this visajourney and would like to know if this process can be faster like 3 months maximum...

However, to clarify, you don't have a choice in which Service Center receives your petition. That's determined by the magical elves at the Dallas Lockbox. :lol:

California has slowed to a snail's pace. 5 months is being generous.

And to the OP, the most important thing is that you were honest with CBP. This will not hurt you as you were denied entry based on your honest admission. No laws were broken.
