question about CSC

Hi guys! I have a question again. Hehehe. I've been browsing VJ almost everyday. And based on what I see on different VJ friends also who filed in CSC are getting there NOA 2 in less than 100days or less than 4 months. Does CSC really speeding up or maybe this people are having there papers expedited? But I've seen cases also who didn't had expedite there documents.. Is it really CSC? Hehehe. Just curious. And also, is there any way to know if what month does CSC is working on right now? Thanks guys for those who will leave there replies!

And also, I'll be having my seminar in Manila in CFO in order for me to have the GCC for me to renew and change my last name on my passport. :)

CSC is really that fast these days. No expedites needed. They at approving a lot of cases at around 100 days!!! I pray they keep it up! They have approved petitions from late March recently. So that's probably about where they are at in processing.

Don't forget though, all of this could change quickly and without any warning!

Hi.. Yeah that's what I noticed too. Everyday I always keep tract here on VJ and I can see lots of filers are getting their approvals in 100days or less. I found a post on how to tract what month CSC is in nowadays after I post this. And more of April filers they are now. I hope our would be lucky too! Coz me and hubby's goal is to celebrate Christmas together.. I'm praying so hard..

They may be fast approving petitions now (although they weren't for ours) but they $#@& at getting them to NVC. It took four weeks for ours, I received notification today that NVC finally got it...now I just need that lucky number

Yeah, that's the thing the got also from other VJ friends.. But I guess its better that they approved faster. Atleast in NVC, it'll just take u a month or less. Unlike in waiting for approval, you do not know til when to wait and how long will it still have to take. hehehe.. Just my opinion. But hopefully everything will go smooth in CSC and NVC.

The way CSC and VSC works is that they tend to concentrate on where the backlog is. Also the Visa's that pay the bigger money amounts like work Visa's tend to have more labor assigned to them. So what has probably happened at CSC is that they have assigned extra staff to K-1's "for now". When I was getting my K-1 VSC was cranking them out at a fast clip and the people at CSC was taking a long time. Without checking I think we got our NOA 2 from VSC in under 100 days.

In a few months the CSC will be taking longer and the VSC will be knocking them out. It cycles.

I got this info from a friend that works at VSC. She told me when I was in the K-1 process that VSC was about to put extra labor toward the K-1's and sure enough they started cranking them out a week or two later.

I've heard that, but the cost hardly explains while AOS at the CSC is taking 8 months when visas all go so much faster. The AOS is over a thousand dollars, but still they seem very slow to process them. But maybe they figure they're here so whats the big hurry?

No clue why it's taking you 8 months. We recently did ours, it got transferred to California and it only took 3 months. I may be wrong but i think 8 months is unusual. You might want to check on it. Did you get an RFE or was something wrong ?

Your wife got her conditional GC in three months? Or just the AP and EAD?

Hank it was like 2 days over 3 months I think. The AP came quickly. I don't think we asked for EAD if I remember correctly. We got married in December but did not get around to filling until Feb. I thought that was about normal, but heck what do I know ? Are you saying that was way quicker than the norm ?? I thought most took 3-4 months if you got no RFE ? Curious to hear what you and others have to say about that ? Cause to tell you the truth it seems everything we did happened very very quickly ?

Ya that seems very quick from all I have read. Most get the AP and/or EAD in 3-4 months and the green card in 8-12 months. I would be impressed if my wife got her GC in 3-4 months.

No RFE, we've put in a service request and had both a congressman and senator look into it. Three months is super fast. We've seen others get them in 3 or 4 months to, which is really frustrating to us waiting so long.
