Long time lurker, first time poster...

July 2012 filer here...Still no GC received and it's very frustrating to see people who applied later than me at the VSC to receive their approvals and still not a dickie bird on my case yet.

Date of I-751 = 16 July 2012

NOA Date = 18 July 2012

Biometrics = 4 August 2012

In the 'Immigration Timelines' tab up at top of the page, VJ is saying VSC is at June 30th processing times now...let's hope this accurate. 8 months for a plastic card and over 4 grand in expense later and still nadda..un-believable...

I know its ridiculous, but VSC hasn't finished June (even May) filers case yet. Don't be stressed, your time will come soon...!

Does anyone have an idea how many I-751 applications they approximately receive every month? Sorry, the wait is just very ... challenging

Just FYI, a lot of adjudicators do not work "on site". Lots of them work from home. At least that's my knowledge of it.

However, you might be right in a sense that those files that they work on at home won't (most likely) be put in the system until the adjudicator is on site.

I've heard the same, about working from home. They check out a box (or boxes), take it home, work on it. Sometimes they "touch"/log into the case in the USCIS database which causes a touch/date change on your case, and sometimes they don't.

I feel bad coming and announcing that I got my card in the mail yesterday 3/18 while others are waiting. I am sorry but the approval is on its way. We waited almost 8 months too.
