Hi all,

On June 18th we sent our AOS & IV (Dont ask!) packs to the NVC, My Husband sent them from Anchorage, AK. I'm not sure if he used reg/priority or courier or not, been calling the NVC just to see if they have atleast rec'd them...NOPE!

Are they lost? Are they just not showing up on their system because they havnt been typed in or whatever yet?

Please someone tell me its the latter!

Don't want to stress that all my marriage/birth certs etc are lost!

Is it up to 20 working days? Don't panic yet.. its takes them sometimes to open up the envelope and update the system. I guess it's first come first serve.. ours took some days as well before it appear on the system after we tracked and showed that it has been delivered a week back...Be patient okay :D

Regards,

Satu Love

Hi, did your husband print out the bar coded cover sheets from the online payment system after paying the bills? If he didn't it would be harder for NVC to identify the package and where it belongs. But they will still put it in the system, it will just take some time. Did you pay all the fees online and everything?

Iryna, Yes he printed out the cover sheets and attached them correctly, and the portal has the AOS & IV both marked as paid! Thank you :)

Love1, You are probably right, I just don't want the important stuff getting lost! New identity anyone?! I guess I'll call them next week to see if they have got them!

Thanks both, feeling better now!

The NVC operators can only tell the packages have been received once an officer starts to review them. Before the review has been started, the operators have NO way of knowing they're in the building.

Just keep calling NVC every day. You should hear soon that your packages are being reviewed yes.gif
