Hey guys I am new to this and I wanted to know if anyone knew about how long it takes for the NVC to schedule an interview for El Salvador. In our final package we were missing a copy of my husband passport so we had to resend it again. I called the NVC and they have not received it but they said when they receive it they can schedule us a date for him to go for his interview. Once he gets his interview can he come or do we have to wait still? Please let me know if anyone has any idea I really miss my husband. :help:

Interviews are scheduled by whats open. Usually at least a month or 2 out. When you say "Once he gets his interview can he come", do u mean to the US? No he can't come until he has a Visa in hand. So you probably have a few more months to wait. And I know you do miss him. I miss mine too its been 9 months now. ughhh this is painful.headbonk.gif

I'm pretty sure he will receive a packet in the mail (which he is not to open) along with his passport (I think they take it at the interview) and then when he receives it he can enter America to immigrate. The packet (from what I've read) usually takes a few days to get to him after the interview. El Salvadore might not have the same procedures, but this is what I've read in other forums.

If I'm wrong, someone is sure to correct me.
