Hi! Can someone direct me which forum I could look up for info regarding Dual Citizenship and petitioning my dad after becoming a USC? My PI passport will be expiring in August and I'm currently in the process of my N400 awaiting interview which most likely will be scheduled sometime next month or around August, I was wondering how soon can I apply for a US passport? With my soon-to-be expired PI passport, is it ok not to renew it since I'll be getting a US passport anyways? Lastly, pls direct me to a forum that assists USCs to petition for family members. I am looking for time frames and processing times if I ever have to petition my dad after becoming a USC.

Sorry for the long post. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks!

My wife became a USC in March and they had people outside to process passports if anyone needed it. But you can do it anytime after. Just make sure you don't need your USC paper for anything because you will have to send it with your passport app. My wife waited so we would could change her social security and driver license first.
