Hello you all.

My fiance sent the package with the I 129F fiance visa in June 06 and so far we havent received our NOA1. Is there something wrong, isnt it?

He didnt send with the receipt confirmation, but shouldnt we have something by now?

Do they send a message on his phone?

I dont know what to do as we dont even have a case number so if I call, how will they help me?

Am SO sad. Please someone help me... Need ideas... I dont know if anyone of you have been through this cause as I see everybody gets the NOA1 in days or a week. And ours will be a month next week

He is from FL.

Id would be happy if anyone can help me...

Sorry guys having a bad day today

Thanks!!

This is a long journey, try not to get stressed out too much in this early stages.

My NOA1 came pretty quickly, mayeb a week?

First things are to check if it was sent to the right location. If it was sent to the wrong one, it might still get to teh right place but there may be a delay. This happened to me.

If yuo paid by personal check, the rumor is that the receipt number is imprinted on the back of your cashed check, it it has been cashed.

Good luck.

I believe this should be moved to the k-1 section of the forums.

Generally you receive a NOA1 around a week after filing.

Are you 100% sure your fiance filed the petition?

If yes, was his cheque /check or money order cashed?

Your fiance (the petitioner) can contact them and explain what has happened. They will give him a case number and it will give you a starting point. Yes, there have been problems with NOA1's recently they are so backlogged so it may be with them but not responded to yet.

Do you know if the check has been cashed?

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
I-129F Sent : Jul 28 2014
TSC received: Aug 04 2014
I-129F NOA1 : Aug 06 2014
I-129F NOA2 : Feb 25 2015 (NOA2 copy rcd: Mar 02)

Sent to NVC: Mar 09 / Left NVC Apr 1 / Arr Embassy Apr 7 / Pkt 3 Rcd Apr 15 / Medical Apr 17 / Pkt 3 sent May 1 / Interview May 12

Left NZ May 15
