Hello,

We have recently received our NOA 2 dated June 18th. I even called the NVC today because I have heard of many lucky applicants having a Visa number assigned within 6 or 7 days. No assigned number yet but I am hopeful and confident it will be assigned soon.

In preparation for mailing out the Documents that my Fiance will need, I am trying to

determine if She will need The Original Noa1 and Noa2 in her possession at the time of her

medical, CFO and interview. Of course, I am a bit leary of mailing the Originals of these very important documents, even though I will send them by Fed Ex.

Thank you for your time,

Jesse

First off, to make things clearer, just use the terms receipt notice and approval notice (I know they are called NOA1 and NOA2 on Visa Journey but its better to just call them what they actually are).

Congrats on your approval notice. Do not send the original - keep that for your records. You could send her a copy (just scan and email it).

You will never need your original receipt notice and no need to send it to your finacee.

Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Do not send any of the original notices, keep for your record as Matt and Bing suggested. Also you can just scan and email her and have her print it out if she can, I sent only the original for I-134, letter of Employment and Bank letter.

Nope DO NOT send the originals. In fact the embassy will not ask for copies of either. Everything you send to your fiancee can be copies EXCEPT the 134 which you have to sign.
