You don't need the packet three letter, you can get it all sent off now if you like!

Hey, is it an LDN number or an LND number?

But my paperwork hasn't left the NVC yet. Only found this out today.

Can I still send off the forms?

Mine is an LND number.

Can someone (Nich-Nick? LOL) confirm if the beneficiary receiving the medical results is totally necessary?

I do know it's beneficial if USCIS loses your medical results when you're at the AOS stage and its been known to happen. I told my guy to ask for the DS form after reading about this issue on another thread (I know he didn't get a copy of the full medical results though since I didn't see photomile's post until it was too late, so I'm hoping they don't lose my info).

At the end when he was paying, he asked for a copy and the woman said, "Yep, I'm finishing that right now" so you might've gotten it with your receipt and immunization stuff if you got any. Check the paperwork you received today, if you have it, the paper will have the DS number in the lower left or right corner of the page.

Knightsbridge always hands out a photocopy of the immunization sheet (DS-3025). It even says to do that somewhere on it. They would be having a real off day to forget to give it to you. There's more sheets with the rest of the medical results that completes the whole package. They don't give those out. They aren't even completed until the blood test results come back from the lab.

Sunshine---I think you're pushing it to send in your applications before your file has even left NVC. the embassy website says:

Applicants who have received a letter from the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy advising them that an approved petition has been received in their name and of the case number accorded to their application, should follow this link for further information.

Note: Only applicants who been notified by the Immigrant Visa Unit that a petition has been received in their name should complete the visa application forms. Forms received without the applicant's case number will be discarded.

I thought it was pushing it too, which was why I was holding off sending them. My fiance has phoned the NVC a few times, after we received our case number to see when the paperwork was leaving, but kept getting different information! The first said it should be sent off in a couple of days, so we waited and then rang back. The next person said no it hadn't left yet and it can be there for 15 days or so????? I got him to call again last night and finally they told us it has left!!!!

I still have to sort through my paperwork and double check everything, so at the earliest I'll be ready next week. I have to read through some posts to see which forms I need to fill in for my son aswell.

Happy again now things seem to be moving! Thanks for your help. :)

Thanks!

When I suggested not needing to wait for packet three, I didn't realise your papers hadn't left the NVC yet!

So now that they have, yeah I think you might be alright. Give it a couple of days maybe?
