NOA2 - 132 DAYS - JUNE 11TH

We have been waiting for the GOOD NEWS and it came today:

Post Decision Activity

On June 11, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

It was a SURPRISE, because there was not text message or email notice, even though I was sign up on the USCIS website. I had this "feeling" to check the USCIS website for the status of our K-1 Visa, expecting to see again "Initial Review". But, the website opened and my first thought was "I've made a mistake" because the page looked different. Then, my eyes read, POST DECISION ACTIVITY. NOA2!!!!!

Thank you VJ for all your assistance with this part of our K-1 Visa. We have not been active in the forums, but we did a lot of reading and followed the instructions and Timelines as VJ students, which, has resulted in the approval of our I-129F petition with NO RFE.

My Advice to those of you just stating your K-1 Visa petition:

1. Read, read and read some more the VJ forums

2. Follow the instructions and Timelines. Don't take short cut - you'll be sorry.

3. Front Load your petition with details on your relationship. (if you don't know what this is, read VJ K-1 Forums)

4. Check and re-check your forms and documents. You'll be happy when you are approved without RFE.

5. Last, be patient and be more patient, your NOA2 will be approved.

I know that other VJers will have even more advice for us.

Wish us well with the rest of the process, Medical, Interview, CFO and my Honey's flight into my arms. Thank you!

congratulations!!!!
