Hi Everyone!

My name is Jona, 26 yrs old, from the Philippines.

My fiance (from Arizona) will start processing K1 visa this week.

What's the best way to approach the fiancee visa process?

Should we attempt to handle the paperwork ourselves or should we get agents to assist us?

Well it depends on you, if you both sure that you can do it why not??

You can use lawyer or agents but be sure that agents are very good on handling your papers.

As long as your case is straight forward and not complicated there is no reason to hire an attorney. Follow the guides at the top of this page and you will do fine. The majority of us have not used a lawyer. Good luck!!!

You've already done the best thing you can do - find VJ! This place will make it easy for you to NOT waste money on a lawyer. There are guides and example forms to follow. Take a look around, read as much as you can, and you'll be just fine.

We hired a consultant. I think it really depends on the time you have. For us, the fee is worth it due to our hectic schedule. So far I'm very happy with them. If I had all the time in the world, I'd do it myself, but I have found that their review is worth it.

Hello,it would depends on you kase ako at yung fiance ko get decided to get an agent to file it for us ,cuz he was so busy at work pero parang natatagalan ako I have read alot of forums too and I think it's better if you will just do it by your own if you had time for it.

Ahm...I just tell it to you kase yung papers ko asa agents pa and hopefully they will send to Uscis as soon as my fiance sign the petition
