i don;t understand your question, the k1 visa is for fiance for the 129f petition..the k3 is for spouse to be filed along with the application for i130 ...and the k3 is pretty much obsolete as it is processed just as quickly as the i 130. what do u mean by uptight?

Yes i meant easier. Just out of curiosity @jae what do you mean for an immigrant visa moscow is the only choice What about the other embassies in russia?

Typically, only one consulate in each country handles immigrant visas. As K-1 is non-immigrant, but treated much the same way as immigrant, I'm not sure if they interview for those in St. Petersburg or not. I'm not familiar with Russia specific cases.
