Hi there! I just wanna ask if how long does NOA 2 take before we received it? My husband is a US Citizen and I am a Filipina.. We sent my papers last May 29 and they received it May 31,2012.. We received there email early this morning with the Receipt number (May29-June 6, 2012). It says 7-10days before my husband received NOA 1.. But what about NOA 2? How long will it take for us to received? Thank you!

Woww! That's too long.. We're filing for I-130, Spouse Visa..

If it is too long maybe you should rethink this and choose someone who is closer to home.

Really it is nothing to wait that to be with someone whom you love, for the rest of your life.

I'm a a US Citizen, and it can take a bit. The timeline helps you out, and it can be close. I just pulled your Timeline up, and I'm sorry to say that it's showing your date as a little bit of time away. If the data you supplied is correct..

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between October 20, 2012 and November 3, 2012*.

This is only an estimate, and it maybe sooner then this. Keep the faith, and stay strong for the days ahead.

One will think it can take up to six months but if for some reason you get a RFE (request for more evidence) your petition will absorb another 2 months making your wait for NOA2 8 months. I did not tell you this to scear you but in reality every case is not the same and some times there may be things missing from your file or they will want more evidence on something before approving. As someone else already told you buckle up, your patience is about to be tested also your relationship.

Mine took 6 months. It was frustrating at some point but your love for each other will keep u going. I just got my appointment / interview date yesterday cause of some snail mail delays. It is worth the wait. Just keep yourself busy. Good luck
