Well, that's the only way to find out if NVC has reviewed/accepted packages since they don't email you about that.

And haha What will your spouse think?

This is exactly what I asked to NVC operator: "I submitted my AOS and IV packages recently. Could you please tell me what is the latest update on them?"

Answer: "We have reviewed your AOS package and it is accepted and your IV package still needs to be processed."

Then I specifically asked this question: "Does it mean that AOS package is accepted and there is no further evidence needed from my side for this?"

Answer: "Yes, we have got everything that we need and just need to process IV package"

I never got a status update in the past saying they have received but it's still waiting to be reviewed. I think they update their system after it is reviewed by NVC.

Sure, No problem.

Today was the first time when I heard from NVC operator that we usually say it takes 20 business days to process IV package but it gets done a lot faster than that. I would say give us a call in a week to get the update.

AOS accepted today and now only to wait for IV package to be reviewed by NVC

Call them tomorrow morning. My AOS package was also delivered on 6/18 so you should have yours reviewed and accepted as well. Good Luck!

i call every morning/night:) and my husband does the same:) i'm here in the Phils and i use my magicjack app on my iphone for free calls

Ok Saylin (or any other technical guru!) I need some scanning help.

I scanned in all 42 pages for the I-864, and they come to 24.6 MB. The trick is...I can't seem to get them compressed. I don't have Adobe Acrobat, and I can't download it (shared computer). I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, which does not appear to have a PDF compression method.

I did try to download a "free" PDF compression kit, but it had a virus, so yuck.

Not sure what other options there may be.
