Just to show how crazy I feel right now, I will ask this: I'm supposed to click "No" on all the questions on Line 40 and forward, correct? I mean, I have never committed any crimes, have no communicable diseases, am not a commie nazi etc...

I think you're overthinking things. Relax a bit, and come back to the form. You're supposed to tick which box applies to you, and not just NO because everyone's supposed to answer NO.

I included a separate sheet on my DS-230 for my addresses and educational history. I copied the table format as it was found on the DS-230 using MS Word, same headings and all, and printed it out. My IV package was approved.

I use Nitro Reader (free PDF editor) software which allows to modify DS-230 and save it with your filled data. You can later open in Acrobat Reader without no issues. If you have Acrobat X Pro. then it may let you modify and save but I have not tried it.

Since yer wife is a USCitzen - that makes her the petitioner. The one that's left in a married couple (IE - YOU) - is the applicant - typically it's the foreign spouse, the non-USCitizen, that becomes the applicant for a USA Immigrant Visa. That'd be you. You need to remember that, as forms are filled out - as 'voice' is important - ie

it's her VOICE on the I-864 and

it's YOUR VOICE on the DS-230.

both invoiced at the same time? COOL! was a G-28 submitted with the I-130 ? 'SAME DAY BILLING' is a feature of filing a G-28 with the I-130 submittal, FWIW.

It's weird cause filling out the G-325 worked like a charm, but not the DS-230.

What I meant with the "doesn't apply to me" comment was that the classifications in the questions about criminal background etc do not apply to me.

I Got email from NVC... And got AOS and Iv Invoiced... I think I got lucky... ... and is says payment is in Progress... After it shows paid can I send the AOS and IV packet?

Looks like we both had our case complete same day. I called today had no luck. May be next week some good news. After filing for my wife this has been the first time I don't like weekends. lol

Yeah, same day.... I also did call on Friday..same outcome as yours....

telling you this is THE FRIST not the last...when she gets here and start going for CRAZY weekend shoping, there will be a lot of weekends, you dont like ..... ...Still cant wait to see my hubby....hope this will be great week to get interview date....

They have an attorney who is already appointed as agent. The DS-3032 is NOT sent in cases with lawyers/attorneys.

So, just curious, on my DS-260 it asked about my employment but not my education. Is this normal? I see people posting about entering their education history but I never had the opportunity, should I take my bachelor to the interview just in case, whenever one is finally assigned.

That seems odd to me. You didn't complete the DS-260 that much before I did. I just completed and submitted it a week and a half ago and I had to list secondary and post-secondary schools I've attended. Did you log back in and review the forms? The education section was right after work history and started with this:

Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above? YES

Number of Educational Institutions Attended:

It required giving the number of schools/colleges/universities you've attended and wouldn't save the data until you had entered the information on all schools (in my case, 6). It was a pain in the butt. EXACT dates you attended, addresses, degree/diploma you earned, etc.

Hi, Darnell!, please how """If that's the case, GUZ IV can fix that. If you learn how to email them""". My problem is, I am in China right now, call quality to NVC is really poor. Called two times, the operators didn't connect me to supervisor, instead they told me "the two cases are linked each other". I am really worried on this.

since the casefiles are still at NVC, you can email nvc.

i suggest two emails, one to nvcelectronic@state.gov and another to nvcinquiry@state.gov

and basically ask for the casefiles to be joined up, and the casefiles to have the same interview date.
