Interview today.....APPROVED!!!!!! Today was by far the easiest part of the process, minus the nerves. Pretty funny on the elevator when there was some of us facing the back and everyone else facing the other direction. Tommyintoronto was that you we were talking to outside??? I was the one with the 12 year old :) Hope you made out okay.

Hi all,

I just received an email from NVC with my interview date in Montreal and instructions.

Now the date does not work for me, I am in europe at that time (trip scheduled 6 months ago).

I want to try to reschedule for a date 2 weeks after.

Will that be a problem to get my dates or will I have to wait a long long time... (seen some people mentioning long waits) ?

When calling CSC will they be able to give me available dates after my original date ?

Thank you. Fab

Hi there, I wouldn't reschedule the appointment and would rather reschedule the vacation if it is possible. For curiosity, what day is the appointment I am waiting for my appointment too?

It's worth calling, just wait a week or so, once your file is at the consulate they will be able to reschedule. I tried calling right after I got my interview date and was given the runaround , told they didn't do that etc, called a week later and rescheduled without problem.

I actually just called to see if I could get either an earlier date or a date 3 weeks (or so) after... the person mentioned the next available date is in 48 days. I hesitated but got scared to take it since I have read about people waiting a lot more... I should have asked what date exactly would that be ?

Now I am wondering if I should call back. So stressful...

Also my medical is scheduled for this monday ? Could that be too much in advance from the interview ? That would be around 45 days...
