What can I say? I am finally done! I am sooo happy! The ceremony was so nice, very personal! No Barack Obama video or anything like that. It was a small auditorium, there were 80 people becoming citizens. They called up each country being represented there, have us stand up when calling the country of origin. There was also a choir, who sang God Bless America, and The Star Spangled Banner. Then they called us by name, had us come to the stage to receive our certificate kinda like in a graduation. The judge shook our hands and told us congratulations and welcome. It was so nice to see the earnest faces of the USCIS representative, judge and other Americans so happy we were now part of this country.

I am now done! Thank you all for support and encouragement in this journey.

Now I am preparing to bring my father, so I will be starting another process.

God Bless all of you, and hope your cases solve very soon!

It was so nice to see the earnest faces of the USCIS representative, judge and other Americans so happy we were now part of this country.

I noticed this contrast too when I went to my daughter's ceremony last year :)

Yes the2ofus Thank you for coming and updating CELEBRATE BIG man BIG...... How does that feels now? tell me?

I feel glad that the person who once applied the same day together with me already a US citizen I feel close and I want to share that feeling with you pretty soon....

With all of you guys No_where_man who seems pretty happy too...

My goodness all I can say is that we deserve it BIG TIME.

Peeking in here from Canada. :) Had to travel to attend to a family member with a medical issue (everything is fine...I was just needed for some help). No changes to my case yet, still waiting on IL, but I'm glad it hasn't come yet at this point because I needed to be here for a little while.

Congrats to all who are done or nearly done :) I'm hopeful that I'll have some movement soon.
