I had found so much useful information here on this site, and I just wanted to post a brief message thanking everyone. Today the courier in Manila delivered my fiance's passport back with our K1 visa in it!!

It was a long process, but anyone else going through this, do not give up hope. We were worried at various points, confused, anxious, stressed. In the end it took many months, some misinformation (I lost a lot of sleep trying to figure out how to get a police report from Kuwait, where my fiance lived, contacting anyone and everyone until finally I was told we didn't need it. UG!)

But in the end, we have our visa finally....

I realize now that we have succeeded, I will try and stick around the forum and offer help to anyone that I can, now that I've been through the process.

Thanks again to this great forum, and best of luck to everyone else out there going through it!!!!

03/18/11 Proposed in Manila

03/21/12 Medical

03/21/12 Medical
