Hi January 2012 VSC/Philippine Filers,

Is it possible for us to start get our NOA2's? We certainly are hopeing. It is not a very good feeling to see approvals sent out to Feburary Filers and skipping us. USCIS was giving out approvals around the 4 month range. However, we are passing that time frame now. Does any one know what the hold up could be?

01/09/2012 - Sent to TSC

01/10/2012 - Received by TSC, transferred to VSC

01/13/2012 - check cleared bank and email from USCIS

01/17/2012 - NOA from VSC Receipt # notice no case #

Vermont is at about 140 days now. Likely they have been busy on other types of applications. Your timeline predicts between the 20th and 28th. I am right in this range as well. Keep fingers crossed for a May approval!!

Please change your profile information to show Vermont and not Texas, Texas does not process K-1 visas.

It's been 4 months and 11 days since your NOA1. The estimated processing time for K-1 at Vermont is 5 months. Give it 5-6 months, after 6 months if you haven't been approved you can call USCIS to raise a service request. You will be approved soon, hang in there. :)

Please read the instructions with the I-129F. The petition fee, where to mail the petition, etc. are all included in that document: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Also, please review your petition and supporting materials because if you're not sure of the mailing address, then it's best to go through and make sure you haven't missed anything else.

I had asked the same question only last week so I can feel you pain and anxiety playing the waiting game and also seeing what seems like a lot of people that filed after you get approved before you. I find it even more amazing for me since I have had clearance to work on military bases and have had several different licenses and permits that required "back ground checks".

It is hard to wait especially after this long and also getting so close to the maximum 5 month mark that USICS has posted as their process time. All any of us can do is remember this is the US government and they work at their own pace (we should all be glad that the centers aren't located in Hawaii since there everything moves even slower ;-) ).

HANG IN THERE WE WILL ALL MAKE IT SOON
