My fiance was approved on may 8th. They told him your paperwork looks good go pay dhl fee you will recieve your visa in 3 days. Well i emailed the embassy a week ago, no response back. So today i called dos to wonder whats going on with his visa issuance. They told me that i need a cosponsor. Now why did they tell him your paper looks good go pay your dhl fee? Why wouldnt they just tell him at the embassy or email or call to say we needed a cosponsor?

Because they have no consideration what so ever.

That's what DOS told you... instead of calling, can you email the Embassy? That way, you get information in writing and you have proof of having contacted them.

At least now, you have a written confirmation.

The lack of communication when they screw up is enormous! It's almost as if they won't contact you because they know they messed up really bad and won't admit to it ggrrr headbonk.gif

Yeah I know...they were prolly just gonna let the petition expire its expires in about 4 weeks

No, it shouldn't be like that. They are giving you the chance to get the co-sponsor.... Can't you get one? The sooner, the better!

Don't give up

Yeah I have someone... trying to rush him to get all paperwork this week or next then dhl it to embassy

Ok awesome then! Everything will be ok!

I know how you feel about the Embassy. I was victim of the Embassy's negligence and lack of communication in Argentina; so trust me, I understand.

It's not the end of the world, even if it feels that way! I'm glad you have a co-sponsor! Keep us posted! good.gif

good Luck . . seems a shame . . what is the minimum requirements for a sponsor . . did they consider you not making enough money?
