Conflicting Information for I-130 requirements

for the visa application your husband needs to send an original copy of his birth certificate. for the 1-130 a copy of his birth certificate.

The above is simply wrong. The foreign spouse's birth certificate is not needed at the petition stage at all, unless filing the petition abroad. Since the petition is not being filed abroad, the Consulate's filing instructions are not applicable. Use the I-130 filing instructions and the VJ Guides.

This member is spreading misinformation and nonsense all over the boards.

I had to correct him multiple times and seen other members doing that as well.

Maybe it's time for Mods to take a closer look at this member posts?
