haha, I did that too when I was waiting, then one day it changed and my heart almost stopped and fell out of my chest, then the email came. I also was obsessed with Igors list, and noted how many spots I moved every day, I checked through other unapproved filers to see when they were last online so I could get a more accurate rate of approval. While I'm grateful for finding VJ, I doubt we would have had such a smooth journey if I hadn't, I also think it contributed to the anxiety of waiting and in some ways I wish I had never started posting on here. haha. I can't help myself though.

We just got our NOA2 approval  finally!! It's been 190 days! I was pretty much convincing myself that something had gone wrong and they'd lost our file or something, so my faith has been restored. I hope so much for everyone else still waiting from May to get theirs in the next few days! The relief is just unbelievable. Thank you for all the support on here, can't wait to get on with the next stages now! xx

Thanks. :) our wedding date is exactly one year after the day he first landed in Sydney after a year of talking while he was in Iraq, so whats nice, is that since meeting, we won't miss a Christmas together.

I hope the rest of your process goes nice and smooth. (F)

To those May filers still waiting. especially those in early May who have concerns about being missed, I noted down the NOA1 dates from the last 2 days of approval (on VJ)

today so far has had NOA1 dates in May of: 2nd, 14th, 15th, 23rd and 31st

yesterday had NOA1 dates in May of: 8th, 8th, 14th, 24th, 24th, 25th, 29th, 29th and 30th

as you can see.. they are not approving in any order, I hope that this at least helps lessen that sick feeling in the pit of the stomach a little.

Things are not looking so hot for me and my fiance right now. This process has been so stressful and he, I suppose, threatened to end it all yesterday. I'm pretty upset right now. I don't know who where else or who else to really mention this to but I figure some might know what this feeling is like. It hasn't ended but being this far away and not really knowing if we're gonna get through this is the most upsetting thing I have I ever experienced.

I really am happy to see so many May filers approved. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else.

bumps in the road are going to happen alot more than a typical couple. This whole process isn't easy, you have come this far, there must be some pretty good reasons to hang on to it and choose to take this path, so I hope you can both refocus on the reasons why you decided to marry in the first place and make the choices that are right for you both. Oh no! Im so sorry to hear what you are going through. It seems to be a reoccuring theme when the stress of receiving the NOA2 comes too much. Beleive my fiancee and I have had our arguements about it, but patience is the only thing you both can do.

It seems that advice is a lot easier from when you first send the petition rather than when you are so close from getting the NOA2 I know, but hang in there.

I know I am!
