How long from approval letter to receipt of card?

I look terrified in my awful card pic, which is ironic given I had the nicest biometrics officer ever. But hey who cares the cards here! 5 1/2 months to citizenship app!

Have my fingers crossed for all of you waiting, that you get your cards soon!

Yes as you noted I did not need to sign. I think for me the card was sent from Laguna Niguel strangely there wasn't any postmark I could detect.

I didn't find a post mark either, return address said Laguna, but when I typed in the tracking number from inside the envelope on top of the mailer it says it came from Corbin, KY! Random...

Thanks Amber! Your card mailing e-mail update has to be coming any day now! :thumbs:

Just saw this...

I got message and update yesterday about 4 pm May 23 (my decision date was April 25, almost a month). Funny part, at 11 something pm I got another update (on my cell). that woke me up. I don't think somebody was working on my case at that time of night, so second update is just automatic then.

Congrats! :thumbs: Looks like card production are back from vacation and speeding it up! :dance:

On May 29, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Just got the same thing. And we are from the same state, btw. Probably we'll get them the same day. Won't be able to check the mail till Friday, so I'll sneak peak on you :blush:

Congrats to all others who have received an email update about card production.

I am still waiting for my card. What's even worse, I misplaced my extension letter and cannot find it for the life of me. Spent a few hours searching around the house over the weekend. I better receive my card soon or I'll be in trouble! :whistle:

It takes 2 days for Priority to get to AZ from CA, so hopefully on Thursday we'll see our cards.

Congrats Amber and Rialtoma on getting the card mailed e-mails... :thumbs: You can call and get the tracking numbers, I didn't bother though and mine took 2 days priority. Unfortunately neither the site nor the online updates give you the tracking number.

Inside the envelope my card was in there was a sheet with tracking number on it, out of interest I plugged it into USPS tracking and it said it came from Kentucky, in spite of the mailing return address being in Laguna, CA. So it took 2 days from Kentucky to Northern California, hope its as fast for you guys.

German Immigrant - you should get yours soon, like Amber said looks like they're doing it in order of approval. Fingers crossed you'll get an update any day now :blush:

Not so random actually. Corbin facility

I am not so sure about what they mean about the facility's ability to increase capacity. That sounds taunting given our situation.
