10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

05/14/12 - Daughter's IV fee invoiced, paid both IV fees - "IN PROCESS"

05/15/12 - Both IV fees show as "PAID"

Congrats and thanks for updating, I really have been thinking about you and your hubby as I haven't seen you post for a while.

Thank you. I really haven't had anything to post. We were kind of "stuck" at nvc. I have been keeping more to myself lately....as the situation rapidly deteriorates in Syria, I barely sleep, and I am kind of in depression mode. The case complete is a big relief though.

9/21/11 - Married in Syria
11/16/11 - Fedex I-130
11/17/11 - Received at USCIS
11/18/11 - Text received from USCIS - papers received - sent to California for processing
11/21/11 - touched
11/22/11 - check cleared - Received NOA1 form in mail
3/9/12 - Approved!!! NOA2!!! 113 days!
3/15/12 - NOA2 received in mail
3/19/12 - NVC received - no case # yet
4/3/12 - Case number received!
4/4/12 - Paid AOS bill (in process) and completed DS-261 Agent form / also emailed request to transfer to Beirut, Lebanon for interview
4/5/12 - AOS bill shows paid!
4/6/12 - emailed I-864ez and tax info
4/9/12 - (rec. confirmation email)I-864 and tax documents received by NVC / request to transfer embassy denied
4/30/12 - finally received confirmation email aos/i-864 approved (case was held due to embassy transfer request!!!)
5/2/12 - IV bill appeared online - paid!
5/3/12 - IV bill shows paid!
5/10/12 - FINALLY submitted DS-260 and emailed all supporting documents
5/15/12 - checklist from NVC - needed different marriage certificate
5/20/12 - emailed other marriage certificate
5/21/12 - email received
5/29/12 - CASE COMPLETE! FINALLY!!!

6/4/12 - Interview Scheduled

7/22/12 - INTERVIEW! APPROVED! NO A/P. KEPT HIS PASSPORT

7/28/12 - Visa in hand

7/29/12 - POE Philadelphia!

Called he NVC when I finally got home from work tonight, Montreal flooded this afternoon about a half hour before I was supposed to finish, and Case Complete!

Actually it was complete on the 18th and I have yet to receive an email!

Plus side, It won't feel so long waiting for an interview date since I've already been waiting for 11 days.

in this quest to reunite with our loved ones.

I can finally take a deep breath for the moment and relax.

All IV documents are in order and our case was completed today.

Phewwww!!!!!!!

Thank you Saylin and all the others that have provided the information

needed to help me make it this far.

Many blessings to you all and may we all obtain our approvals that

we are seeking.

Case Complete.......

Now to begin the wait for the interview date.......

When you guys call NVC without a case number, you give your USCIS receipt number right?

Yes, that's the only way. As soon as you get through an operator, they ask for either the USCIS receipt number or your NVC case number.

Being from Bosnia (a non-EP country) you wouldn't get a case complete email. But the other member is from Canada and opted in for EP, where case complete emails are sent.

Called NVC about my interview today and was told that they are finished scheduling appointments for June. I know this is not true from reading the forum, but hearing that statement kinda made me a little sad :unsure:

I'll answer again:

1). Only countries that allow advance medicals allow having the medical done before the interview date is scheduled. As far as I know, Indonesia is NOT one of those countries.

2). If it's not a country that allows advance medicals, no, the panel physician will not accept that. It has to be the interview letter.

3). Yes, this is your only option.

Please be patient in regards to the medical. You'll have plenty of time for it to be done.
