VJs,

How do you like the below affidavit I asked a friend to provide to me? Basically, I used the same format my attorney used when we filed for the Green Card almost 2 years ago. It is a questionnaire format where friends fill out, then I enter in the format below to have it notarized. I will submit 2 of them with the format below. Do you think it is a good source for support?

AFFIDAVIT OF XXXXXX XXXXXX

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is XXXXX XXXXXX. I am over the age of 18 and am competent to make this Affidavit. I swear under oath that:

1. “My current residence is 000 ABC STREET, Spring Field, XX, 00000. My telephone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

2. “I write this affidavit in support of XXXXXXXXX immigration petition to remove conditions on residence for her husband, XXXXXXXX.

3. “I have known XXX since the year of 2002 and XXXX since XXXX met her.

4. “I see XXX and XXX frequently as I rent a room for them at residence 000 ABC STREET, Spring Field, TX, 00000. They entered in Month-to-Month Rental Agreement and began XX/XX/2XXX. Up-to-date, they have fulfilled their rental obligations. In their daily relationship, I see affection and love between them. Both XXX and XXXX live in harmony, showing respect to each other”

“I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.”

Seems pretty similar to the ones I sent. I did not notarize mine by the way though doing so could only help. Try to get family members too.
